USITT Speeches Heard via Point Source Audio Headworn Mics

LOUISVILLE, KY – Jackie Taylor, founder and CEO of Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theater, provided the keynote address at the USITT’s 59th Annual Conference & Stage Expo with an assist from one of Point Source Audio’s patent pending dual element CO2 Confidence Collection headworn mics. Event Safety Alliance Promotes Vigilance to Prevent Future Tragedies

INDIO, CA and TORONTO – On April 6, the industry lost another veteran member of its family in an accident on the Coachella festival site. Less than a week later, an inquest into the 2012 stage roof collapse in Toronto that killed a member of Radiohead’s audio crew led to more than two dozen recommendations that, had they been in place, might have made all the difference. As the 2019 touring season gets under way, the Event Safety Alliance issued a call for renewed vigilance to prevent future tragedies.

Esports Experience Featured at 2019 NAB Show

LAS VEGAS – The 2019 NAB Show featured the “Esports Experience,” a new exhibit floor destination located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The interactive area featured exhibits, a theater and educational programming that showcased the latest online gaming trends and content delivery technologies. The 2019 NAB Show was held April 6-11, with exhibits open April 8-11.
