Meyer Sound Panther Sets Sail with Yuming on 50th Anniversary ‘Journey’ Tour

JAPAN – Yumi Matsutoya, a.k.a. Yuming, has been one of Japan’s favorite artists for nearly a half-century. Her current in-the-round concert tour, ‘The Journey,’ includes 54 arena shows and is expected to draw a total audience of 574,000. The tour’s ambitious staging centers around a pirate ship set, while the audio is powered by Japan’s first major touring deployment of Meyer Sound Panther large-format linear line array loudspeakers.

APPLE VALLEY, MN – The Minnesota Zoo recently converted its elevated monorail track – closed for years – into the Treetop Trail, providing zoo visitors with a fresh perspective on the zoo’s natural environment. World Youth Day 2023 Welcomes 1.5 Million to Lisbon with Outline Newton Assist

LISBON, Portugal – World Youth Day 2023 welcomed Pope Francis and 1.5 million pilgrims to Lisbon in early August. The vast listening area, measuring 1 x 3 kilometers, was covered by 109 P.A. towers with 1,100 loudspeakers driven by 327 amplifiers, with more than 100 kilometers of optical fiber and 300 network switches. Two Outline Newton FPGA-based signal processors, customized for the event, also played a key role.
