This 4-channel system features 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio, 2-way IR sync, three levels of encryption and a 470-608 MHz tuning range, while setting new standards for enhanced audio quality, flexibility, low latency and compact size. The half-rack DSQD receiver has a high-res color display; analog or Dante digital outs; and backward compatibility with Digital Hybrid transmitters, including all Lectrosonics SM, SSM, HM and HH units made during the past 17 years. The DBu belt pack and DHu handheld transmitters use high efficiency digital circuitry for extended operating time on two AA cells. The DBu has a removable antenna and a TA5 mic input. The DHu can be used with a variety of standard threaded interchangeable capsules.

Lewitt Audio is now shipping its LCT 040 MATCH and LCT 140 AIR small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones, the company’s most affordable mics yet. The LCT 040 MATCH is available as a single pencil mic ($99) as well as a $189 stereo pair package, while the $149 LCT 140 AIR features two switchable sound characteristics. Users can choose between an open and sparkling “AIR” tone or a highly realistic “FLAT” setting.
