Powersoft Software Update for ArmoniaPlus

Powersoft announced a software update for the company’s ArmoniaPlus that includes streamlined functionalities of the system manager along with improvements in the amplifier’s detail user interface and the addition of a subharmonic generator to better support the Mover transducer. The revisions to the detail user interface make it easier to access all the amplifier’s processing block. Also, Dante settings can be controlled from the amplifier details, and the new speaker preset v3 format includes manufacturer EQ and other parameters.

Karrie Keyes to Receive Parnelli Audio Innovator Award

LAS VEGAS – The Parnelli Board of Advisors has announced that Karrie Keyes, longtime monitor engineer for Pearl Jam and co-founder of SoundGirls, a nonprofit dedicated to the empowerment of the next generation of women in audio, will receive the Parnelli Audio Innovator Award at the 19th annual ceremony on Jan. 17, 2020.
