DEVON, UK–MC2 has developed a revised front panel for its T Series amplifiers; they now feature a perforated panel which give the amps a fresh, contemporary look, reflecting the 'family' design of MC2's other amplifiers more closely. The previous anodised finish has also been altered to a painted one, making the T Series more easily color matched and therefore a co-ordinated appearance across an entire equipment rack much easier to achieve.

BERKELEY, CA–Meyer Sound has appointed Frank Martin to the newly created position of installation sales manager at the company's office in Polch, Germany. In his new post, Martin assumes responsibility for sales and support for the installation market throughout Germany, as well as in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.

AUSTIN, TX– Audio-Technica has announced the new 700 Series Professional UHF Wireless Systems. Available in handheld, headworn, lavalier, guitar and body-pack configurations, the new 700 Series Freeway systems feature automatic frequency scanning, eight selectable frequency-coordinated UHF channels, diversity operation for interference-resistant reception, and a Tone Lock squelch system that eliminates noise when the transmitter is off. All channels are compatible, so up to eight systems may be used simultaneously. Visual feedback is provided by an LED channel display as well as by antenna and AF Peak indicator lights. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch output connectors allow the 700 Series receiver to interface with the most popular audio inputs.

CLEARWATER, FL–In 1866, the Midway Baptist Church became the first house of worship in Clearwater, Fla., when its founder, Reverend C.S. Reynolds, supervised the construction of a log cabin church. Known today as Calvary Baptist Church, the congregation now worships in a 2,500 seat, state-of-the-art facility on a 28-acre site.

CHESTER, PA–The dual-channel PA-2312 public address amplifier from Inter-M offers 120W RMS per channel and is outfitted with individual front panel gain controls and LED indicators displaying output levels of -40 dB, -10 dB, and clipping, as well as activation of onboard protective circuitry. Four-ohm, 70V, and 100V outputs are found at the rear panel, as are balanced XLR inputs, and a high-pass filter switch. A link connector at the inputs facilitates multiple amp operation, while a ground-lift switch offers users the opportunity to separate signal ground from chassis ground.
