Lyric Opera of Chicago Deploys Meyer Sound Line Arrays for “Show Boat”

CHICAGO — The 3,600-seat Lyric Opera of Chicago, which closed its season with Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein’s 1927 masterpiece, Show Boat, used a Meyer Sound system that included 10 M2D line array loudspeakers, 16 MM-4XP self-powered loudspeakers, two CQ-1 loudspeakers, one 700-HP subwoofer, a Galileo loudspeaker management system and two MPS-488HPe power supply units.

Indiana Now Requiring Stage Structure Inspections, Emergency Plans

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission unanimously approved new regulations on temporary staging May 2 that went into effect May 3.
