Björk’s “Cornucopia” Includes 360-degree Audio Experience Supported by DiGiCo’s Quantum 7

BRUSSELS, Belgium – Björk’s Cornucopia features the Icelandic singer/songwriter along with a 13-piece band and 52-voice choir. The highly theatrical performances, staged in New York City and Mexico City earlier this year, continue in Europe this fall with support from DiGiCo’s SD7 Quantum 7. FOH engineer John Gale also used a DiGiCo SD12 in the early phases of the project.

In Memoriam: Ed Cherney, 69

VENICE, CA – Grammy Award-winning recording engineer Ed Cherney passed October 22, 2019 after a battle with cancer. Cherney had a long and successful career as one of the industry’s most respected and premier recording engineers for his work on both studio and live remote recording projects.

NEW YORK, NY – The opening ceremonies of the 147th Audio Engineering Society Convention took place Oct. 16 at the Javits Center and featured the presentation of this year’s AES Awards, along with welcoming remarks from AES President Nadja Wallaszkovits and AES New York Convention committee members Agniezska Roginska, Valerie Tyler and Jonathan Wyner.
