U2 Residency Opens Sphere at the Venetian in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – U2’s 25-show residency in Las Vegas, ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,’ is set to run from Sept. 29 to Dec. 16, 2023 at the new Sphere at the Venetian in Las Vegas. FOH was there for the band’s second show on Sept. 30, and even if you closed your eyes and just listened, it was impressively immersive. The Holoplot sound system lived up to its promise with audio that was crisp, detailed and full – but not too loud – with occasional flourishes including sonic movement within the space.

MONTREAL – Each August, Montreal’s picturesque Parc Jean-Drapeau, which spans two islands on the St. Lawrence River, draws crowds to three of the city’s biggest music festivals, all produced and promoted by evenko: the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, îlesoniq and Lasso Montréal. DiGiCo Gets Dallas’ AT&T Performing Arts Center Connected

DALLAS – The AT&T Performing Arts Center turned to Spectrum Sound for an audio upgrade within its various performance spaces including 2,200-seat Margaret McDermott Hall, the 547-capacity Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, the outdoor Annette Strauss Square, with a lawn that can hold up to 2,200, and two black box theater spaces. The upgrade included a new d&b audiotechnik P.A. system and a pair of DiGiCo Quantum338 consoles.
