FRANKFURT, Germany – Prolight + Sound, which had been originally set for March 31-April 3 this year, was postponed to May 26-29 earlier this month (March 4). But in response to subsequent restrictions on gatherings of more than 1,000 people, and uncertainty about when those new restrictions might be lifted, the organizers of Prolight + Sound, Messe Frankfurt, found it necessary to cancel all plans for a 2020 PL+S trade fair outright. They announced on March 13 that the next Prolight + Sound trade fair in Frankfurt will take place April 13-16, 2021.

NEW YORK – One of the last big shows to take place at Madison Square Garden before the COVID-19 outbreak forced the closure of the venue in March was the March 10 concert featuring the final Allman Brothers Band lineup, dubbed “The Brothers.” They came together to mark the band’s half-century milestone (the original band was formed in 1969).
