Crown Audio ComTech Drive Core series amplifiers are among a new generation of products included in Harman International's GreenEdge environmental initiative. Crown DriveCore series amplifiers are designed to be energy-efficient and use fewer resources in manufacturing.

Avid's recent addition to the Pro Tools family, Pro Tools | HD Native, harnesses faster CPUs to deliver customers the capabilities of Pro Tools HD with native, host-based performance. This lets music professionals tackle demanding audio projects using the full capabilities of Pro Tools HD software running entirely on computer CPU host-processing power.

Waves Audio's C6 Multiband Compressor builds upon the C4's functionality, adding two additional floating bands plus a sidechain feature, for one-stop vocal and instrument shaping.

ISP Technologies' High Definition Distributed Sound System (HDDS) with self-powered speakers connects over Cat5 cable with RJ45 connectors. With the distributed system's D-CAT amplifier technology in self-powered speakers, virtually all of the system current goes to drive the speakers and is capable of 30 watts of continuous power per speaker.

Riedel Communications' RockNet RN.345.IL network plug-in card fits into any Allen & Heath iLive MixRack Port B expansion slot and provides an interface to 64 input and 64 output channels. A rotary switch on the front panel sets device identification and selection of up to 15 programmable routing tables. The RN.345.IL enables the iLive console system to become part of the RockNet digital audio network.

Ashly Audio's KLR Series combine efficiency, power, light weight and a competitive price. The two-channels KLR Series amps, which range from 1000 to 2000 watts per channel at two ohms, include the KLR-2000, KLR-3200, and KLR-4000.

Blackbox Electrical Products has announced the release its MC24 line of electrical hoist controllers. Featured in a lightweight and rugged package, the four channel controllers are available in both twist lock and 7 pin Socapex versions.

Guard Dog low profile cable protectors now have optional rubber pads that can be added to increase traction. Available with 1, 2, 3 or 5 channels, the compact, heavy duty, top-loading protectors are only 1.25 inches high and have a .75-inch channel height. They protect cables, reduce trip hazards, and feature either standard ramps or low angle ADA Compliant ramps.

JBL Professional recently added five new loudspeakers to its AE Series (Application Engineered) lineup. The AM7315/64 and AM7315/95 are 3-way full-range models, the AM7200/64 and AM7200/95 are mid/high models, and the AL7115 is a 15-inch low-frequency model.

The NEXO 45 N-12 12-inch arrayable line monitor from Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. is 19 3/8" wide, 22 5/8" deep, 15 7/16" high, and weighs 62 lbs. With no interference between adjacent monitors, the unit is touted for allowing for a stable, steady frequency response in the coverage area. While compact, it is also touted for high SPL output.
