Io Audio Technologies introduces new standard sizes of its Powerlatch series of rugged AC cable with 6- and 25-foot options joining the current sizes of 3 and 10 feet for the Powerlatch to Powerlatch cables. The Powerlatch to Edison cables will add a 3-foot option to join their standard sizes of 10 and 25 feet. Designed for use in indoor and outdoor environments, the Powerlatch AC power cables utilize a weatherproof jacket to ensure proper performance and safety in most applications. They are fitted with rugged locking connectors that provide the safest connection for high current applications by virtually eliminating the possibility of accidental unplugging. The connectors are also specifically keyed, and color coded for input (blue) and output (gray).

At ISE 2020 in Amsterdam, Meyer Sound debuted new speakers in its ULTRA-X series for install or portable use. The new ULTRA-X20 is a junior-sized version of the ULTRA-X40 introduced at ISE last year, with the same advanced design, but in a more compact package, with two 5-inch cone drivers, a compression driver and rotatable coaxial 110×50-degree horn with onboard power and DSP, in a 26-pound 7.5 x 19 x 8.6 inch (HxWxD) enclosure. The matching USW-112P single-12 powered subwoofer, measuring 23.5 x 13.5 x 11.95 inches and weighing 47 pounds, can be AC or IntelligentDC powered.
