Manchester, U.K.’s #WeMakeEvents Flight Case March on Aug. 11 Culminates in Red Flare Display

MANCHESTER, U.K. – On Aug. 11, as part of the U.K.-wide #WeMakeEvents campaign, the live events and production community in Manchester organized a silent and socially distanced “flight case march” across the city, which culminated in a dramatic red flare exhibit. More than 1,000 freelancers and supply companies participated, pushing for an extension of government support beyond the current October limit along with grants that could help save an estimated 114,000 jobs.

Greenland’s Qooqqut Festival Mixed on Allen & Heath SQ-6 Console

NUUK, Greenland – Greenland’s cultural center, Katuaq, staged the annual Qooqqut festival for 250 attendees on an isolated shore in the Nuuk fjord complex, in close cooperation with the authorities to ensure compliance with Covid 19 guidelines. Katuaq’s sound technician, Angunnguaq Larsen, mixed FoH for the event from a 48 channel SQ-6 console.
