MONTREUX, Switzerland – Meyer Sound has served as an official partner to the Montreux Jazz Festival for most of the event’s existence. There were some changes for the 2024 event, with venue renovations moving more of the music outside and closer to the lake. But the lineup of performers including Janelle Monáe, Rag’n’Bone Man and Duran Duran still relied on more than 400 Meyer Sound loudspeakers across multiple stages.

Théâtre de la Ville in Paris Goes Immersive with L-Acoustics L-ISA

PARIS, France – Théâtre de la Ville reopened last fall after a seven-year renovation, updating the 19th-century venue with 21st century technology. BLive provided L-Acoustics’ L-ISA system, with five hangs of two SB15m over eight Kiva II; a center-flown cluster of six KS21 subwoofers; and 13 X8 hung around the sides of the venue, balcony edge and ceiling.
