FREMONT, CA – Arista Corporation named Sam L. Malik vice president of sales and marketing. Malik started with Arista on Feb. 3.

As Vice President, Malik will be responsible for Arista’s sales and marketing, with a focus on the Professional AV markets. This includes oversight of the company’s Pro AV distribution channels and management of the company’s Value added Resellers and System Integrators.
Malik brings a wealth of experience to his new position with Arista Corporation. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Sales at Optoma USA, where he was responsible for Pro AV sales throughout North America. This involved working to implement new product strategies to exceed customer expectations in addition to sales training. Prior to this, he held management level positions with several additional prominent companies, including Proxima Displays, Premier Mounts, Sanyo Corporation, Vivitek Corporation, and Toshiba America.
Reflecting on his new responsibilities with Arista Corporation, Malik offered the following thoughts, “I am delighted to be joining Arista and the many talented people that comprise this company.
