NEW YORK — Signature Audio is participating in the 2009 NYC Peace Project, a service learning initiative that connects students to each other and the world. The kick-off event is set for April 3 in Central Park, and activists and artists ranging from Yoko Ono, Todd Parr and Matt Watroba are expected to attend.

“We’ve always strongly supported the goals of nonprofit organizations such as Amnesty International and the United Nations Children’s Fund,” said Sam Walton, senior manager at Signature Audio. “We welcome any opportunity to use our company’s resources to further the message of peace and help increase public awareness of the global problems that need to be solved.”

Signature Audio will provide on-site logistics, planning support, and production equipment to help this year’s event run smoothly. “The organizing committee is thrilled to be able to focus on long and short-term project goals, instead of fretting over the inherent difficulties of planning and coordinating such a large-scale event,” said Seth Grass, production manager at Signature Audio. “It helps to have the support of an organization like ours that knows how to handle the details.”
