LAS VEGAS – There’s still time for FRONT of HOUSE readers to vote for the six top regional sound companies in North America – one for each of five U.S. regions, and a sixth for all of Canada. These votes will narrow the field from 36 nominees to just six regional winners, who will then appear on the Parnelli Awards ballot for a second round of voting. The winner will receive the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year at the awards ceremony in Anaheim, CA on Jan. 17, 2020.

The 36 regional sound companies on the Hometown Hero ballot, which has been online since voting began earlier this month, are based on nominations made during the month of August.
Although nominations for Hometown Heroes are no longer open for this year’s contest, FRONT of HOUSE readers can still nominate people, companies (including larger sound rental companies) and products from a broad array of Parnelli and Indispensable Technology awards categories. Parnelli and “IT” award nominations are open until Oct. 11, 2019, 5 p.m. PST.

Voting for the Parnelli Awards nominees, Hometown Hero finalists and Indispensable Technology Awards will take place after the Parnelli Awards ballot is finalized and posted in early November. Parnelli Awards voting will then continue throughout the month of November.
