NEW YORK CITY – Martha Stewart, reigning queen of crafts, and her brand is synonymous with creativity and excellence so it is understandable that the companies she associates with are of the same caliber and carry the same reputation. Which is why it is no surprise that K-array audio solutions were used at the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia event hosted at the company’s headquarters in the Starrett Lehigh Building in New York City on April 22, 2015.
The event, the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Gala, featured a five-person panel discussion moderated by Maria Bartiromo, Global Markets Editor of FOX Business Network/FOX News Channel; a cocktail reception and dinner. The topic of the evening was society perceptions of aging and caregiving and aimed to increase awareness in order to continue improvements for adult care.
To ensure that the acoustics at the event added to the importance of the eventing, production company L&M Sound and Light distributed 12 specially-modified K-Array KR202 speakers throughout the venue. The KR202 features dual KMT18 (18”) subs each with 2 channels of 1,000 Watts matched to two KK102 mid-high arrays. A coupling assembly allows the speakers to be mounted side-by-side, giving the ability to vary the horizontal dispersion pattern for narrow to wide coverage.
“We admire the founder and always enjoy working with her staff,” said director of design and production services, Richard Tatum. “It’s always exciting and challenging, but thankfully we had the K-array KR202s that created a vibrant and elegant environment which satisfied the clients.”
