LAS VEGAS — This is it – the last week to nominate a worthy audio product for the 2014 Parnelli and Indispensable Technology “IT” Awards. It’s also the last chance FRONT of HOUSE readers get this year to nominate worthy individuals and companies for the Parnelli Awards. The deadline for both is Sept. 30.
To nominate your choice for the best sound product to debut from mid-2013 to mid-2014, go to www.fohonline.com/it. (If you feel so inclined, you can also nominate the best lighting, staging and video product to debut during the same time frame.)

The 2014 Parnelli Awards Ballot, which will also include the finalists chosen for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year, will be open for voting during the month of October. Winners will join Audio Innovator Bob Goldstein, Lifetime Achiever Benny Collins and Visionary Howard Ungerleider at the Parnelli podium during the Nov. 22 awards ceremony at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Tubes frontman Fee Waybill is hosting this year’s event.
It all promises to add up to the biggest night of the year for the live entertainment profession — and none of it would be possible without the generous support of the 2014 Parnelli Awards sponsors.
