ST. LOUIS, MO – Ironman Sound Industries was chosen by Missy Slay of SLAY Events to manage the sound, lighting and video production of the inaugural Saints Gala presented by Centene Charitable Foundation on Aug. 28.
More details from Ironman Sound Industries (www.ironmansound.com):
The event raised funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while recognizing the commitment to the patients and families of St. Jude and celebrating the philanthropic spirit of the St. Louis region.
Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III, his wife Ira DeWitt, along with Cardinals Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith and Yolonda Lankford, served as honorary co-chairs for the event held at Busch Stadium.
For this event, ISI provided a distributed sound system for the stadium infield, two 14’ LED video walls, and a variety of moving, color changing, and conventional lighting sources to provide atmosphere all under the canopy of the St. Louis skyline. The gala event featured on-field cocktails and dining, with messages from St. Jude, a live auction and presentations by celebrity emcees.
“Ironman Sound has been a premier vendor partner of ours for over 15 years”, said Missy Slay of SLAY Events, “I can call Adam or Nick at any time and they will grind it out to make sure whatever we ask of them gets done and is at the level and quality we expect regardless of the lead time. In addition to going above and beyond, they recognize our long standing partnership and are willing to work with us with our non-profit clients to help achieve their budget goal, while still providing the high quality of equipment and production we have come to expect. Recently, we engaged ISI for the Saints Gala benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Busch Stadium. They worked under extreme heat conditions loading-in and knocked it out of the ballpark that evening. We couldn’t ask for better partners and are so appreciative of their entire crew,” Slay commented.
All proceeds from the event benefitted St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Saints Gala achieved their goal of raising over $1.5 million for St. Jude to support its mission: Finding cures. Saving children.
