TEMPE, AZ – Arizona State University commissioned Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams (WJHW) to design a new sound reinforcement system for its Sun Devil Stadium 365 Reinvention project. WJHW specified an Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) system featuring Anya enclosures. WJHW’s Mark Graham specified two Anya arrays, each hung to the left and right of the video scoreboard. Each array is made up of one main column of 16 Anya and an auxiliary column of eight additional modules – bringing the total to 46 Anya.

VUE Takes to the Ring with HBO World Championship Boxing

LOS ANGELES – Audio Visual Live, Inc. (AVL) deployed a VUE al-8 line array system for the HBO Boxing After Dark live broadcast event staged Jan. 27 at The Forum in Los Angeles. AVL deployed an all-VUE system consisting of 32 medium-format al-8 elements in four hangs of eight, with eight (2 perched atop each of the 4 arrays) al-8SB flyable subwoofers for low-frequency support.

Cascade Sound Joins L-Acoustics Provider Network

SALEM, OR – Cascade Sound recently joined the L-Acoustics Certified Provider Network. Cascade’s inaugural L-Acoustics purchase includes 24 K2 and 12 Kara enclosures, 16 KS28 subs and five LA-RAK II touring racks, each loaded with three LA12X amplified controllers. Cascade Sound, founded in 1969, provides production services for corporate events, casinos, festivals and fairs of all sizes throughout Oregon and Washington state.
