L-Acoustics System Deployed for Foo Fighters’ “Super Saturday Night” Show

ATLANTA – The night before Super Bowl LIII, Foo Fighters performed within a temporary, 72,000-square-foot, three-story venue for 8,500 fans. Dubbed the Super Saturday Night concert sponsored by DirecTV, the temporary setup included the venue itself – a 100-foot-tall dome roof provided by Jack Murphy Productions – along with an L-Acoustics K1/K2 sound system from Britannia Row. Touring systems engineer Adam Smith used L-Acoustics’ Soundvision to tackle the one-off gig’s challenging acoustic design.
