H.A.S. Productions Supports Gladys Knight in NV with VUE System

PRIMM, NV – H.A.S. Productions provided a VUE Audiotechnik system for Gladys Knight’s March 2, 2019 appearance at the Starr Of The Desert Arena in Primm, NV south of Las Vegas on the border of California and Nevada. H.A.S. made use of VUE’s Continuous Source Topology (CST), which allowed al-12 and al-8 acoustic elements to be seamlessly combined into left and right hybrid arrays for improved coverage, sightlines and reduce weight.

CP Communications Taps RAD Intercoms for Super Bowl LIII and Related Events

ATLANTA – Radio Active Designs (RAD) noted that its UV-1G wireless intercom systems were in use during numerous events related to Super Bowl LIII, including during the game itself, to ensure all lines of communication were kept open. Live Sound Engineer Brandon Blackwell Relies on Waves for A$AP Rocky Tour

MIAMI – FOH and monitor engineer Brandon Blackwell is using products from Waves Audio, including MultiRack SoundGrid, Waves SoundGrid Extreme Server and Waves Plugins, for A$AP Rocky’s “Injured Generation” tour. Blackwell’s setup includes a DiGiCo SD12 and a Waves Extreme Server running plugins on an external computer via Waves MultiRack. “Everything is sync’ed from the audio console to the host computer, which makes life so much easier; especially because I rely heavily on snapshot scenes,” Blackwell says.
