Monitor Mixer Mike Bangs Relies on dLive System for George Strait’s Show during RodeoHouston

HOUSTON – More than 80,100 fans attended George Strait’s concert in Houston’s NRG Stadium during RodeoHouston 2019. An Allen & Heath dLive Digital Mixing System provided monitor support for Strait’s 11-piece band in a unique in-the-round stage configuration, with veteran monitor engineer Mike Bangs in the saddle. GP Productions provided the NRG Stadium stage package and control system, with stack and racks coming from LD Systems.

Adlib Supports Wombats Tour

LIVERPOOL, U.K. – Adlib provided The Wombats with a compact control package for the full UK/EU tour, working closely with their engineers Pete Bartlett (FOH) and Andrew Egerton on monitors. This consisted of an Avid Profile at FOH with a DiGiCo SD12 at monitors with a line system / stage cabling package to suit. Adlib then supplied CODA audio racks and stacks and additional crew for two arena shows, with the rest of the shows having already installed house systems.

Meyer Sound Takes the Stage at SXSW 2019

AUSTIN, TX – At SXSW 2019, which ran from March 8 to March 17, Meyer Sound served as official sound partner for the House of Scandinavia, hosted by SAS Airlines and Rev Worldwide, and the Relix Roadie Lounge, part of the Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion setup at the Scoot Inn. Solotech Names Mike Poirier General Manager of the Company’s Office in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Solotech named Mike Poirier general manager of the company’s Las Vegas office. Looking after local operations and sales, Poirier will work with Philip Giffard, president, sales and systems integration division, and Mickey Curbishley, president of the live productions division (USA).
