Björk Performances at The Shed in NYC Heard via d&b Soundscape

NEW YORK – Icelandic singer and songwriter Björk worked with FOH engineer John Gale along with Southby Productions and Steve Jones from d&b audiotechnik to deploy a d&b Soundscape system at New York’s new cultural center, The Shed, which opened in NYC’s Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West Side in April. Björk’s theatrical Cornucopia series of shows launched in early May and run at The Shed until June 1, 2019.

Billie Eilish Travels with Flyable Allen & Heath Rig

LONDON – Pop artist Billie Eilish’s sold-out global tour dates feature flyable Allen & Heath dLive rigs at both FOH and monitor positions. Drew Thornton, FOH engineer, and Salim Akram, monitor engineer, have been using compact, 12-fader C1500’s to mix over 50 inputs from an array of live instruments and backing tracks. Their innovative rig is fed by a quartet of DX168 stage boxes connecting to a DM0 MixRack via EtherCon connections.
