In Memoriam: Blair McNair, 61

McKINNEY, TX – Pro audio veteran Blair Andrew McNair passed away on March 1, 2021 after an extended battle with Covid-19. He was 61. Well-known in the field of acoustical measurements and a highly respected sound system designer, McNair was also a talented musician and FOH/monitor engineer. His career spanned more than four decades in all aspects of installed sound.

ISE Issues Statement on June 1-4 Show Dates and Policy Adjustments

MUNICH, Germany – Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events (ISE) announced March 1 that, while ISE 2021 is holding firm to plans for an in-person exhibition in Barcelona from June 1-4, it is also updating policies to give attendees more flexibility for this first post-Covid era trade exhibition. ISE is also planning an online program with unique content for those who opt against traveling to Spain in June.
