John Mlynczak Named as New NAMM President/CEO

CARLSBAD, CA – After a comprehensive year-long search, The NAMM Executive Committee and CEO Search Committee announced that industry veteran and music education advocate John Mlynczak will serve as NAMM’s next president and CEO. Outgoing president/CEO Joe Lamond lauded the appointment and looked forward to a seamless transition, saying, “I am confident that [Mlynczak] will continue to champion our industry and our vision, mission and objectives.”

Andrea Bocelli Tours with DiGiCo Quantum 7 Consoles

WORLD – Andrea Bocelli has been touring in support of his most recent albums, Si (2018) and Believe (2020), with a control setup that includes a pair of DiGiCo Quantum 7 consoles. Shure Captures the Sound of Music Icons at the 65th Grammy Awards

LOS ANGELES – The 65th Grammy Awards was broadcast live from Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 5, 2023. Along with Shure Axient Digital wireless technology for host Trevor Noah, the show’s audio production team relied on 59 channels of Shure wireless including 28 channels of Shure PSM 1000 IEM systems and 160 Shure P10R bodypacks for most of the performers. Audio Engineering Society Receives Technical Grammy Award

LOS ANGELES – The Audio Engineering Society (AES) was presented with a prestigious Technical Grammy Award during Grammy Week 2023.
