EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Matt Peskie has joined the Masque Sound sales team with a focus on installations and production. Peskie served as monitor engineer with Avril Lavigne’s Under My Skin tour, production manager for Jars of Clay, monitor engineer for Guster and as tour manager, FOH engineer and monitor tech for many other notable artists.

BUENA PARK, CA — Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. (YCAS) has added two manufacturer rep firms for NEXO speaker products: R. Joseph Group (Columbus, Ohio) and Highway Marketing (Dallas, Texas).

WUPPERTAL, Germany — Riedel Communications, expanded its RockNet team with the addition of Thorsten Schulze, who was named product manager for multimedia and entertainment.

BUENA PARK, CA —Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. has appointed Kevin Kimmel to the position of mixer product manager. In his new position, Kimmel will be responsible for product training, the implementation of marketing and support programs, and recommendations for mixer product design from the North American market to the research and development team in Japan. He will report to Marc Lopez, marketing manager, Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc.

WOODINVILLE, WA — LOUD Technologies Inc. named Kurt Metzler North American Sales Manager, EAW.  Metzler will lead the existing EAW internal sales support team, North American rep force and distributor network. Metzler will report to Ernie Lansford, LOUD’s director of North American sales.

SINGAPORE — Midas and Klark Teknik have appointed a new distribution company, Quad Professional, for Singapore and Malaysia. The appointment comes on the heels of new distributor announcements earlier this year for Midas and Klark Teknik in Taiwan, India, Indonesia and Thailand.

NILES, IL — Shure Inc. named James Ahlborn vice president of finance and chief financial officer (CFO). He will lead the company’s finance division and have full responsibility internal auditing, financial planning and analysis, treasury, payroll, financial reporting, cost accounting, customs, accounts payable and receivable, tax analysis, and credit.  He will also provide strategic counsel as a member of the executive staff.

DENVER, CO — Digital Revolution, an independent sales and marketing firm led by principal C.J. Lewis, has been chosen to represent Mojave Audio’s product line in states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

NILES, IL — Shure Inc. named Rick Renner Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast. Before joining Shure, Renner served for seven years as regional sales manager and sales representative at Sennheiser Electronics Corporation.  Before that, he was a staff recording engineer at Streeterville Recording Studios in Chicago.
