LAS VEGAS — Michael S. Eddy, who has held many positions during his 30-year career in theatre, most recently as a freelance writer and marketing consultant, has been named editor of Stage Directions magazine, an affiliate of FRONT of HOUSE. He replaces Jacob Coakley, who is stepping down after nearly 10 years of service. 

MARCOUSSIS, France — L-Acoustics named Jeff Rocha head of market development for North America. His role will be to analyze and develop market strategies for L-Acoustics products in the North American market, collaborating across the applications, marketing and sales functions for implementation. Rocha joins L-Acoustics following more than 20 years driving product development and strategy at Eastern Acoustics Works (EAW).

ST. WENDEL, GERMANY – HK Audio has joined forces with König & Meyer for a new accessory range. The partnership between the two German manufacturers has already started in 2017, with the launching of the Stereo Stand Add-On option for the Lucas Nano 600 series system, introduced last week at NAMM 2017. More products will follow in the coming months.

WHITINSVILLE, MA – Louie King has joined Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) as marketing & communications manager, where he will manage advertising, branding, communications and digital marketing worldwide. King brings more than 20 years of experience to the company.

WEBSTER, NY – Jim Mack has joined the Ashly Audio team in Webster, NY as CEO. He will report directly to Marty Szpiro, president & CEO of Jam Industries, Ashly’s parent company. Prior to Ashly and Jam Industries, Mack worked on behalf of TEAC America, PreSonus, SaneWave, Tascam and Alesis.

WOODINVILLE, WA – Loud Technologies Inc has appointed Kelsea Robson as sales director, US national accounts, for Loud’s Mackie and Ampeg brands. Robson has experience in MI sales and retail operations, including more than eight years with Guitar Center as director of sales administration and Capex operations. She will be based at the company’s corporate office in Woodinville, WA.

PETALUMA, CA — Audio equipment manufacturer Point Source Audio (PSA) has completed its move into a new corporate headquarters in Petaluma, CA. The new office is just a mile away from the previous location, but is 50 percent larger. Expanding operations to the new facility with larger warehousing and assembly facilities is in alignment with the company’s plans for market growth and new product development.

NASHVILLE, TN — SES (Special Event Services) named Chuck Young as the general manager of the company’s Nashville location. Headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, SES has additional locations in Nashville, TN, Concord, NC and Sacramento, CA. The company provides audio, lighting, video and rigging for a variety of projects.

COSTA MESA, CA  – Christophe Anet joins QSC Professional as product specialist, EMEA. He joins QSC from Genelec Oy, where he held several positions including education/training manager and technical editor. At QSC, Anet will provide product demos, training and education, along with tech support for the company’s channel partners.
