Live sound veteran Dennis Verduchi, the founder and operator of sound company Soundstage Productions, in Providence, RI, passed away on August 19, 2024. He was 72. Verduchi was not only a skilled sound engineer but also a talented bassist and singer and was a friendly person who was known and loved by anyone and everyone involved in the local music scene.

In Memoriam: Spectrum Sound Co-Founder Bev Porter, 1956-2023

MOUNT JULIET, TN – Beverly “Bev” Porter, the co-founder and CFO of Nashville-based Spectrum Sound, died Aug. 15, 2023. She was 67. Porter, who met her husband, Ken, at Belmont University, married in 1978. The two then founded Spectrum Sound in 1979. Along with her husband Ken, she is survived by four daughters, a granddaughter, two siblings and many friends.
