Known for his complex finger picking style, energetic performances, and the use of percussive effects on the guitar, he has returned to the U.S. for a series of summer dates. Nominations Open for 2011 Hometown Heroes Competition

LAS VEGAS – Every year, the readers of FRONT of HOUSE Magazine honor some of the top regional sound companies in the U.S. and Canada. Based on reader nominations, we list the top contenders from five regions in the U.S. and all of Canada. FOH readers then get to vote for the top regional sound companies in these six areas. NEW YORK – This year's Drama Desk Awards, held May 23 at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center, may have been a little less dramatic than most, as far as the top awards for sound design for a musical and play were concerned. The sound design winners for top musical and play, respectively – Brian Ronan and Acme Sound Partners/Cricket S. Myers – were the odds-on favorites with two awards nominations each.
