Lakewood Church Control Rooms Using KK audio labs DS-8 Monitors

HOUSTON – Lakewood Church has outfitted each of its two main audio control rooms with a pair of KK audio labs DS-8 eight-inch, two-way powered audio monitors. The two identical rooms, designed by the Russ Berger Design Group and featuring Euphonix 5-B digital mixing consoles, both handle on-air broadcast duties as well as audio post production, and are additionally tied to a music recording studio.

Lab.gruppen and Lake Support EAW Focusing with Lake Controller v5.7

KUNGSBACKA, Sweden – Lab.gruppen and Lake announced that Lake Controller software (v5.7), with accompanying firmware for both the PLM Powered Loudspeaker Management products and the LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor, can support a new processing module type. With extensive filtering that can be used to create both crossover and driver EQ, facilitating linear phase, minimum phase or arbitrary phase filters, the filters can also be used to create classic crossovers and specific driver EQ. The v5.7 release also supports EAW Focusing through the direct recall of EAW Greybox files into any PLM Series device via the Lake Controller software.

SAN MARCOS, TX – The building founded in 1941 as the Plaza Movie Theater has morphed over the decades, serving, alternately, as a movie palace, live theater and restaurant. NASHVILLE – Cornerstone Church recently transformed a U.S. Postal Service sorting facility in Bowling Green, KY into a satellite sanctuary. The idea was to offer congregants a blend of live elements, including a band, with a videotaped sermon from the pastor at Cornerstone's Nashville home base. Nashville's Pro Audio Solutions prescribed and installed a sound system centered on Danley loudspeakers and subwoofers for the space, which was built from prefab metal walls and no concern for acoustics.

MetraPark Rimrock Auto Arena in Billings, MT Using EAW Loudspeakers

BILLINGS, MT – Pro Media/UltraSound recently installed a substantial EAW loudspeaker system at Rimrock Auto Arena within the MetraPark multi-facility events center here, including EAW AX Series speakers, SB Series large format subwoofers and CIS Series ceiling speakers. The project was part of a multimillion-dollar refit of the 12,000-seat arena, which was damaged by a tornado in June 2010.
