PLASA Launches Safety in Entertainment Website

NEW YORK – PLASA announces the launch of the Entertainment Industry Safety Initiative website, now live at www.safetyinentertainment.org. The site is designed to raise awareness of safety in the live event production industry among companies and individuals by providing information and resources regarding safe work practices, record keeping, accident reporting, and more. The site currently focuses on codes and regulations in the United States, but will be expanded to cover other countries in the future.

Boulevard Pro Equips Goodwill Church with NEXO, Yamaha Gear

David Crowder Band Tours with Sennheiser Gear, TRUE PT2-500s

VERBENA, AL – On what is possibly its last tour, the David Crowder Band has been using Sennheiser wireless products on the road for the duration of its 2011 road trip. The band is using Sennheiser 900 Series microphones, both on instruments and vocals. This year the band has also been touring with two TRUE Systems PT2-500 preamplifiers, using them to capture material for two albums to be released in the coming months, including a Christmas album titled Oh For Joy that's due out in October.
