Meyer Sound Tours With Slightly Stoopid

BERKELEY, CA – Meyer Sound's MILO loudspeakers toured the U.S. with Slightly Stoopid for the band's Seedless Summer Tour. Rainbow Production Services from Hampstead, NH provided the system. The setup included 24 MILO line array loudspeakers and 18 700-HP subwoofers for front of house, with two MICA line array loudspeakers over one 700-HP per side for side fills. Six UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers were used for front-fill, six MJF-212A stage monitors and one more 700-HP subwoofer for drums.

Montana State University Covers 17,200 Seats with One Danley Jericho Horn

BOZEMAN, MT – Montana State University's Bobcats football team is playing in a renovated stadium this year. Some 5,200 additional fans can see each game – a total capacity to 17,200. Steven Shewlakow, lead designer at Michael Garrison Associates (MGA), opted for a single Danley Sound Labs Jericho Horn JH-90, which throws audio some 400 feet from its position on the stadium's new scoreboard.

NYU Performance Space Goes Digital with Yamaha PM5D

NEW YORK – New York University's 860-seat Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, which opened in 2003, had been looking for a newer, digital alternative to the older analog console at front of house. The venue opted for a Yamaha PM5D digital audio console purchased from Scharff Weisberg.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Grace Cathedral, well-known for its reproduction of Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise, two labyrinths, stained glass windows, medieval and contemporary furnishings, its 44-bell carillon, three organs and choir, recently chose Countryman E6 Omni and E6 Flex Omni microphones for its Chapel of Grace.
