LAS VEGAS, NV – The second annual Audioversity Expo, held by Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc., drew more than 500 attendees to the Las Vegas Hilton Aug. 24-25. Building on the inaugural event, which drew 475 to Soundcheck Nashville Aug. 11-12, 2010, this year's event featured training seminars and panel discussions with Stan Miller, Bernie Becker, Al Siniscal, Robert Bull and Monty Lee Wilkes, among others.

Dallas Winspear Opera House Equipped with Renkus-Heinz System

DALLAS, TX – The 2,200-seat Winspear Opera House is located in downtown Dallas near to numerous other performance venues, including the Wyly Theatre and Dallas’ Symphony’s Meyerson Auditorium, as part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center. US Open of Surfing Heard Via Sennheiser Digital Microphones

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – This year’s US Open of Surfing, a nine-day broadcast event in which the top surfers in the world compete for $100,000, featured the use of Sennheiser MKH digital microphones. Attended by over 500,000 people and held on a beach stretching 300 yards, the event was supported by Hollywood, CA-based Coffey Sound used the MKH 8060 and MKH 8070 mics equipped with MZD 8000 digital output modules. The mics offered the weather resistance required for a seaside environment that included wind, moisture and salty air.
