Hilton Carlsbad Equipped with Shure ULX-D, SM58 and WL185 Gear

CARLSBAD, CA – Clifford Friedman, technology solutions architect at Telnet Solutions, led a team that installed 14 Shure ULX-D systems with SM58 handhelds and WL185 lavalier microphones for the main ballroom and five meeting rooms within the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa here recently. Friedman also integrated the ULX-D system with the ballroom’s Q-SYS networking system so the Hilton’s meeting rooms could be controlled and routed from an iPad.

ACIR Professional Honors Veterans at VetRock

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Bader Field in Atlantic City was the site for the first VetRock concert, held June 1 in honor of those who served in the Vietnam War.  ACIR Professional provided new d&b Audiotechnik J rig along with a Yamaha CL5 and PM5D consoles at FOH and monitors. Along with Shure, AKG, Sennheiser, Electro-Voice, Audio-Technica and Countryman mics, the event relied upon Shure and Sennheiser wireless systems. ACIR also provided lighting, backline, staging, rigging, and supervised power, video, and barricade installation.
