Neon Trees Gearing Up for 2014 Shows with VUE al-8 and al-4 Line Arrays

SAN DIEGO — With their highly anticipated summer tour kicking off in just a few short weeks, Neon Trees are keeping busy polishing their trademark sound to a mirror-like finish at their Provo, Utah studio. Along for the ride on this year’s tour is a unique cross-stage monitoring and front-fill solution designed around VUE Audiotechnik’s al-8 and al-4 line array systems. Danley Sound Labs Hosts Training Sessions for International Distributors

GAINESVILLE, GA — Danley Sound Labs recently hosted one of an ongoing series of training sessions attended by some of its international distributors. Key members of Finnish distributor LF Imports came to Danley’s headquarters here in February, followed in March by members of Singapore distributor The Soundsmith and German distributor Carsten Eichstaedt-BLL-Veranstaltungstechnik.

Allen & Heath GLD-80 Wins Four-Console Shootout in Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, TN — Joe Hamilton of ML Sound worked with Cokesbury Church technical director Mischa Goldman and the multi-campus church’s team of front-of-house engineers on a backs-turned, four-console shootout to pinpoint sonic nuances and preferences. Allen & Heath’s GLD-80 came out on top. Both the soundco and house of worship are based here.
