Last Week of Parnelli Voting; Tickets and Rooms Still Available!

ANAHEIM, CA – Voting for the 18th annual Parnelli Awards is entering the home stretch. You can still make sure your voice is heard and help determine who gets the top honors at the gala ceremony set for the Hilton Anaheim on Jan. 25. And if you haven’t yet booked a room or secured your Parnelli Awards tickets yet, there’s still time to do that too. But time is running out – Parnelli voting comes to a close this Friday, Dec. 14, at noon, West Coast time.

Mike Shinoda’s “Post Traumatic” Tour Mix Evolves with DiGiCo SD Consoles from Sound Image

HONG KONG – After an initial solo performance, Mike Shinoda’s Post Traumatic tour grew in complexity and inputs as tour legs were planned for Asia and Europe. Mix engineers Mike Fanuele and Kevin “Tater” McCarthy, who started off sharing a single DiGiCo SD12 mix surface, adapted to the changing needs of the shows by using a variety of other DiGiCo SD Series desks, including the SD11i and SD10. Sound Image is providing the gear for the ongoing tour, including the DiGiCo SD12 desk, pictured here, which was used for a number of dates on the global tour run.

Guitarist Peter Frampton to Receive Les Paul Innovation Award at 34th Annual NAMM TEC Awards

ANAHEIM, CA – Peter Frampton will receive the Les Paul Innovation Award at the 34th annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards (a.k.a. NAMM TEC Awards). The ceremony is set for Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019. The Les Paul Foundation partners with NAMM each year to honor the individuals that have set the highest standards of excellence in the creative application of recording technology.

For ‘Together’ Dallas, the NEXO configuration consisted of 18 M46/B112 and 1 M28DF per side, 24 RS18 Ray Subs, 16 S118 subs for the main PA, and 12 M46/B112 and 2 x M28DF per side for outhangs. 15 M28 were used for delays, 12 M28 for far delays, and 8 GEO M10 for frontfills. 50 NXAMP 4X4 amplifiers and 1 4X2 Mk 2 (for M10 frontfills) powered the system that was all controlled through NeMo, NEXO’s system management software. On stage, REACH used 16 PS15-R2 stage monitors/side fills, 2 RS18 Ray Sub side fills, and NEXO 2 Msub15s for drum subs.

Reach Communications Deploys NEXO STM for Pulse “Together” Gathering in Texas

FORT WORTH, TX – For a Pulse “Together” event, which drew close to 90,000 of the faithful to Texas Motor Speedway Oct. 20-21, Reach Communications deployed a NEXO STM system with mains, side hangs and delays. The setup included 18 M46/B112 and 1 M28DF per side, 24 RS18 Ray Subs, 16 S118 subs for the main PA, and 12 M46/B112 and two M28DF per side for outhangs, plus 15 M28 for delays, 12 M28 for far delays and eight GEO M10 for frontfills.
