NYC Centers for Live Entertainment Go Dark in July 13 Blackout

NEW YORK – The 2019 NYC Blackout had a much smaller impact on the city as a whole than the outage that struck exactly 42 years earlier, on July 13, 1977. Even so, New York’s busy live entertainment scene took a direct hit from the loss in power, which struck just before 7 p.m. on a midsummer Saturday night. It turned Times Square dark and forced the cancellation of events planned at Broadway theaters, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center and J-Lo’s concert at Madison Square Garden.

Trio of Tenors Tour with Allen & Heath

SALT LAKE CITY – GENTRI – The Gentlemen Trio, a group of three tenors, travel light while performing at wide variety of audiences and venues. Supported by FOH engineer Ryan Smith and production manager Doug Olsen, the trio make use of a compact Allen & Heath dLive C1500 Surface and CDM32 MixRack at FOH and two IP8 Remote Controllers at monitors. Performance Audio, based in Salt Lake City, is supplying the gear.
