Woodstock 50 Festival Organizers Focus on DC-Area Venue for Aug. 16-18 Event

COLUMBIA, MD – The Woodstock 50 festival, originally planned to take place Aug. 16-18 at Watkins Glen in upstate NY, has taken potential audiences on a wild ride of twists and turns as the much-anticipated event speeds toward the finish line. By July 25, after plans for a second NY State site, Vernon Downs, came up short, a new site was announced – 32,000-capacity Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.
