ESA Issues Statement on Gilroy Garlic Festival Shooting

GILROY, CA – On Aug. 1, 2019, Event Safety Alliance president Jim Digby and VP Steve Adelman posted a statement on the tragic shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival on July 28. Within days, that horrific shooting would be eclipsed by more carnage in El Paso on Aug. 3 and Dayton, OH on Aug. 4. While we are all reeling from these real-life nightmares, ESA’s post reminds us of the need to continue to stay mindful over those safety measures that we can control.
