NAMM Presents $10,000 Check to Santa Monica Charity

ANAHEIM, CA – At its NAMM U breakfast session on Jan. 23, NAMM president and CEO John Mlynczak presented Lana Negrete with a big check for $10,000 out of its recently-formed fund for California wildfire relief fund. The check was made out to Outreach Through the Arts, a Santa Monica, CA-based charity now actively providing musical instruments and other support for those affected by the wildfires earlier this month.

Parnelli Awards and ProProduction Sessions Set for Jan. 24 during NAMM 2025

ANAHEIM, CA – This Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 is going to be a big day for FOH and PLSN magazines. The day starts with The ProProduction Sessions, free to NAMM attendees, with insight-packed discussions taking place at 11 a.m., 12 noon, and 1 p.m. Also at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel on Jan. 24: the 23rd annual Parnelli Awards, with the Cocktail Party starting at 6 p.m. followed by the banquet and awards ceremony at 7 p.m.

dBTechnologies VIO Shines for Night of Worship and Music in Oceanside, CA

OCEANSIDE, CA – The fifth year of “Encounter Night” took place Nov. 3, 2024 at the 3,000-capacity Pier Amphitheatre in Oceanside, CA. House of God Productions provided a dBTechnologies ViO X206 line array system for the event, which brought together dozens of churches from across San Diego County for an evening of music, worship, and unity. Coastal City Church hosted the event along with event partner Jesus Culture.

UPDATED: NAMM CEO on Wildfire Relief Efforts at The NAMM Show

ANAHEIM, CA – In an open letter to NAMM Show attendees, John Mlynczak noted that NAMM has been in constant contact with their partners and city officials all week, and Anaheim is still unaffected by the wildfires in northern Los Angeles. They have confirmed that the air quality is safe, that traffic between LAX and Anaheim will not impact relief efforts, and that NAMM’s hotel rooms will not displace any evacuees.
