Monitor Engineer Travon Snipes Scales Up to DiGiCo’s Quantum7 for Post Malone’s Latest Tour

NORTH AMERICA – Post Malone’s current fifth tour, ‘If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying,’ comes on the heels of his simpler fourth ‘Twelve Carat’ tour, which wrapped up in May 2023. For the current, more complex production, monitor engineer Travon Snipes opted to shift from a DiGiCo Quantum5 console to a Quantum7, the same desk that Kevin Brown is using to mix Post Malone’s shows at FOH.

The Santa Fe Opera Re-Imagines ‘Orfeo’ Opera Production with Lectrosonics Wireless

SANTA FE, NM – Mark Grey, sound designer for the Santa Fe Opera’s new production of Orfeo, chose Lectrosonics SSM belt pack transmitters and channels of Venue2 receivers for the inventive production. “Thirteen channels are on characters who are onstage and sometimes offstage,” Grey noted. “The fourteenth is dedicated to a character who is only offstage. We also have wired microphones offstage,” he added, noting the use of DPA 4061 mics on the SSM belt packs.
