SENIGALLIA, Italy — The Summer Jamboree is a festival of American Rockabilly and Swing music and culture from the 1940s and 1950s. The event, conceived and organized by the Cultural Summer Jamboree Association and promoted by the Municipality of Senigallia in collaboration with Regione Marche and private sponsors, has grown in popularity, and this year included four stages. Top Service, a rental company, provided four K-array KH15’s for the main stage and K-array KH4’s for two of the other stages.

BOLLULLOS DE LA MITACION, Seville, Spain — MFO Producciones, based here, recently took delivery of a Turbosound Flashline PA system including 24 TFS-900H four-way line array modules, 18 TFS-900B double 18-inch subwoofers and six complete amplifier racks. The gear was quickly put to use for a series of arena events during the month of August.

LINZ, Austria –MEB Veranstaltungstechnik, based here, provided Adamson speaker systems for this year’s five-day World Rowing Under 23 Championship held at Reggattastrecke Ottensheim in Linz-Ottensheim, Austria. MEB’s sound reinforcement covered the grandstand and boat prep areas along with the marketplace, on-site restaurant and VIP tents..

CRISPENDORF, Germany – The Wolfszeit open-air festival in Crispendorf near Schleiz in Thuringia is one of the few pagan and darkmetal festivals in Germany. Gear from ProAudio Technology was used for the  monitoring along with the main P.A. for the event, which drew about 3,000 visitors. The setup included 10 HT16 tops, 16 SW18 and eight SW28 subs.

AMSTERDAM – At IBC 2013 here, JoeCo is previewing a future addition to its BlackBox family of multi-channel recorders and players. Designed with the broadcast and location recording customer in mind, the new BlackBox BBR1MP Recorder is a 24-channel, 1U recorder housing 24 new microphone preamps operating at up to 24bit/96k.

SRINAGAR, Kashmir, India – On September 7th, maestro Zubin Mehta and the Bavarian State Orchestra hosted a landmark event known as “Ehsaas-e-Kashmir” (Concert for Kashmir) in the foothills of the Himalayas. India’s Sound and Light Professionals debuted its brand new L-Acoustics K1 rig for this historic event. The town of Srinagar had not witnessed any official form of cultural activity since a cricket match in 1983, making this one of the most eagerly anticipated concerts in recent times. Nearly 2,000 guests attended the event hosted by the German Embassy in the Shalimar Gardens in Srinagar.

IBIZA, SPAIN — Allen & Heath’s Xone DJ mixers were used throughout the Ibiza season at various venues across the island, requested by top DJs including Pete Tong, John Digweed, Chris Liebing, Juanjo Martin and Richie Hawtin.

BOCHUM, Germany – When the updated production of Starlight Express opened at the Stadionring here, it also marked 25 years since its premiere performance at the specially constructed ‘Starlight Express Theater’ in 1988. The production now uses Martin Audio’s Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array (MLA).

ISTANBUL, Turkey – Murat Boz played at the Avcilar stadium in Istanbul on August 10^th, drawing in 65,000 spectators. Park Technical Production, Istanbul, used two KR400 systems and eight KF12 full range powered speakers from K-array for the concert.

BANGALORE, India — Harman Professional recently hosted its Sambandh 2013 business conference at the ITC Gardenia hotel here. Sambandh 2013 brought the Harman Professional India team together with other key Harman executives from around the world.  More than 150 people, including dealers, leading system integrators, consultants, sound rental companies, and end users, attended the event.

MIELEC, Poland – Tommex Zebrowscy Sp. J. has completed the design and installation of a Community loudspeaker-based audio system for the new 30,000-capacity Mielec Stadium here. The multi-use venue is home to the Stal Mielec football (soccer) team.
