2013 Wimbledon Championships Relies on Riedel Artist and Acrobat Systems

LONDON — RG Jones Sound Engineering relied upon Riedel Communications’ Artist and Acrobat intercom systems for the 2013 Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. The system was used by Hawk-Eye operators, statistics collectors, scoreboard operators, and other staff, including the team supporting on-court presentations following the victory of the U.K.’s Andy Murray over world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the men’s final.

VERONA, Italy – Measuring 140 by 110 meters (length by width), the Roman arena in Verona is known for its large-scale opera and theatre performances. Once capable of housing 20,000 patrons per performance, the arena is now limited to 15,000 because of safety reasons. EINSIEDELN, Switzerland – Fohhn Audio’s new Focus Modular line array systems with beam steering are making their live debut at the large-scale, open-air theatre production of Das große Welttheater (The Great World Theatre) being staged at Einsiedeln Abbey here. The play, by Spanish writer Calderon de la Barca, has been performed on the abbey square of the Benedictine monastery at various intervals since 1924. In recent years it has been re-interpreted to relate to modern times.
