L-Acoustics And Robbie Williams ‘Take the Crown’

MARCOUSSIS CEDEX, France — Robbie Williams’ ‘Take the Crown’ European stadium tour, his first solo tour for seven years, kicked off on June 14 of this year, taking in 11 countries across June, July and August.  Sherif el Barbari, Audio System Designer and System Engineer for Robbie Williams, designed and spec’d the entire PA system around the requirements of the tour.  Britannia Row, who had already serviced Robbie Williams’ tours for almost two decades, supplied the entire L-Acoustics audio equipment for the tour.

Maryland Public Television Win Emmy for Concert Mixed on Calrec

HEBDEN BRIDGE, U.K. — Longtime Calrec customer Maryland Public Television (MPT) has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Audio from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for its mix of “America’s Veterans: A Musical Tribute,” an hour-long concert that was broadcast live on Maryland Public Television in Fall 2012. In order to mix the award-winning production, MPT used both of its Alpha 40-fader consoles, with two operators per console.
