SÃO PAULO, Brazil – Considered the largest religious building in Brazil, The Solomon Temple has a custom audio system from K-Array.

ESSEN, Germany – The Aalto Theatre here turned to equipment from Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup including the company’s AURUS console, several NEXUS Base Devices and the NEXUS STAR router.

ZURICH, Switzerland — Riedel Communications supplied radio and intercom services for the European Athletics Championships. Riedel’s MediorNet network carried video to the LED walls in Letzigrund Stadium, the road race in the city and to two warm-up stadiums. Four Artist digital matrix intercom systems enabled communications across the stadium and on the road race course while the Riedel Juggler enabled the connection of TETRA radio systems to support nearly 500 volunteers. The company also managed frequency coordination for radios, microphones, in-ear systems, and wireless camera systems — a total of more than 300 devices — used in the stadium and on road races.

SWITZERLAND and GERMANY – Out Board’s TiMax delay-matrix and performer-tracking systems were used at a variety of outdoor shows across Europe including productions of AIDA the Musical in Thunersee, Switzerland; Verdi’s Nabucco in Schwerin, Germany; a rock-opera version of Jedermann in Erfurt, Germany and the Military Tattoo in Basel, Switzerland (site pictured here).

BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG, Germany – An Alcons Audio LR24 pro-ribbon line-array system was used at this year’s Marbach Classics Open Air event, which capped a year of celebrations during the farm’s 500th year. Close to 7,500 spectators came to see the Ross ballet, involving 90 horses from across Europe, and the 60-piece Württemberg Philharmonic orchestra of Reutlingen performed.

LONDON – Major Tom Ltd. is providing a Meyer Sound LYON system to support Ed Sheeran’s one-man shows. The setup varies, with larger shows using front hangs of 12 LEO-M over four LYON linear line array loudspeakers each, with 14 additional LYON loudspeakers in each of the twin side hangs. Completing the system are 18 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements for low end and eight M’elodie line array loudspeakers for front fill. A Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system with one Galileo Callisto 616 AES and four Galileo Callisto 616 array processors provide system drive and alignment. UDINE, Italy – Artesuono Studios’ recent addition of Merging Technologies’ Horus Networked Audio Interface has greatly improved the portability of the mobile rig whilst significantly improving the end results. Horus was chosen for the quality of the microphone preamplifiers, the converters and the ease in connecting to existing Avid Pro Tools HDX and HD3 Accel systems.
