QUEENS, NY – Rat Sound deployed L-Acoustics’ L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology surround system for U.K. band alt-J’s performance at Forest Hills Stadium on June 15. FOH engineer Lance Reynolds, band manager Stephen Taverner and alt-J’s three band members all got behind the new technology after Reynolds visited L-Acoustics in Westlake Village, CA for a hands-on tryout.

Angus and Julia Stone at London’s Royal Albert Hall Heard via L-Acoustics’ L-ISA

LONDON – FOH engineer Adam Rhodes mixed folk/rock duo Angus and Julia Stone’s concert at Royal Albert Hall on L-Acoustics’ L-ISA. The setup included five arrays of 15 Kara each above the stage as a frontal system, with additional side hangs of two arrays of 10 Kara and fills, driven by 27 LA12X. Britannia Row provided the gear.
