Mohegan Sun Arena Upgrades with Meyer Sound System

UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment equipped its 10,000-capacity arena in Uncasville, CT with a Meyer Sound LEO sound system that includes Meyer Sound Lyon, Leopard and 1100-LFC low frequency control elements. San Diego Fair’s Five Weeks of Concerts Heard via VUE Audiotechnik System

SAN DIEGO – When Meeting Services, Inc. (MSI) won the bid to provide full production services for the San Diego County Fair, production account manager Birch Caffee took the opportunity to take the VUE al-12 Acoustic Linearity Line Array for a spin. Running for a full five weeks from May into July 4th weekend, the fair’s 27 shows featured a broad mix of artists and genres, including Dionne Warwick, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Pitbull, and Smokey Robinson, among others.

Ordway Music Theater in St. Paul Equipped with DiGiCo SD7T Quantum Console

SAINT PAUL, MN – The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts has installed a new DiGiCo SD7T Quantum console in its main Ordway Music Theater performance space, continuing the venue’s reliance on DiGiCo SD-Range technology that began when the Center opened in 2009. The new digital desk supported this summer’s production of the musical 42nd Street, which ran from July 23 through August 11.

SummerStage Series in NYC’s Central Park Heard via d&b Sound System

NEW YORK – This year’s Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage series of concerts in New York’s Central Park got a boost with a new stage and audio system. To optimize the sound for attendees, the sound crew deployed a d&b KSL loudspeaker system. They also took advantage of the capabilities of d&b NoizCalc to and minimize noise complaints from nearby residents. Sound Associates served as the AV integrator for the project.
