Meyer Sound Powers 50 Year Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band at Madison Square Garden in NYC

NEW YORK – One of the last big shows to take place at Madison Square Garden before the COVID-19 outbreak forced the closure of the venue in March was the March 10 concert featuring the final Allman Brothers Band lineup, dubbed “The Brothers.” They came together to mark the band’s half-century milestone (the original band was formed in 1969). The one-night show was powered by Meyer Sound solutions, including LEO and LYON linear line array loudspeakers, provided by rental partners UltraSound and PRG North America.

Allen & Heath Academy Now in Session

VAN NUYS, CA – Allen & Heath Academy offers attendees formal training spreading across a broad range of the company’s products as well as live sound practices in general. The workshops are based around in-person academy training as well as online testing. This year’s schedule started with classes in Van Nuys, CA in February.

Solotech Acquires Miami-Based Pro Sound, Inc.

MONTREAL – Solotech announced its acquisition of Pro Sound, Inc., a Miami-based AV, lighting and broadcast integration firm. Solotech also acquired Pro Sound, Inc.’s Stage Equipment and Lighting (SEAL) brand as well as affiliates Pro Sound CA, Inc. and Show Systems, Inc. Brands and staff will be retained, with “A Solotech Company” added.
