InteRise Installs Immersive d&b Soundscape System at Pinelake Church’s Reservoir Campus

JACKSON, MI – Pinelake Church reached out to InteRise of Nashville, TN to seek guidance on designing and installing a new sound system that would be able to keep up with changing audio needs for the services at their Reservoir Campus. FOH/PLSN Covid-19 Economic Impact Follow-up Survey Shows an Industry On the Edge

LAS VEGAS — In early July, FRONT of HOUSE and PLSN Magazines conducted a follow-up to the Covid-19 Entertainment Technology Economic Impact survey in April. Over the course of a week, 2,910 magazine subscribers and others responded (most on the first day). The results are bleak and show an industry on the edge, highlighting a desperate need for additional PPP funding.

d&b Soundscape Powers Italy’s Reimagined Ravenna Festival Into its 31st Edition

RAVENNA, Italy – Leading the way in a new era of live entertainment, Ravenna is once again hosting its opera and classical music festival, deploying a d&b Soundscape immersive sound system to bring it to life. Two DS100 processors with the d&b Soundscape software plus over 60 d&b loudspeakers are being used for the live concert – one for the audience, and one to create the “virtual acoustic shell” for the musicians.

Once Again We Need to Contact our Representatives in Congress – Here’s How

KNOXVILLE, TN – FRONT of HOUSE and PLSN are once again joining Bandit Lites chair Michael T. Strickland in calling on everyone in our live event industry to reach out to their representatives in Congress for an expansion in PPP funding. Strickland notes that the PPP application extension to Aug. 8 and the PPP Flexibility Act that became law July 4 and July 5 are welcome enhancements, but they do NOT add funding. “That will [hopefully] come in the next session, before July 30,” he noted. To help that come to pass, it’s time to reach out to Congress.
